1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the services provided by BGL Utility Services Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

Business Conduct & Compliance

BGL Utility Services Ltd LTD is committed to lawful business practices, transparent customer relationships, and responsible operational conduct. We maintain internal checks appropriate to the nature and size of our business and seek to work with reputable customers, suppliers, and service providers.

We do not present ourselves as a bank, electronic money institution, investment platform, money service business, or cryptocurrency business. We provide business utility support and related commercial services.

Where customer authority is required for supplier communication, this is obtained through appropriate written authorisation. We expect customers to provide accurate business information and reserve the right not to proceed where information is incomplete, inconsistent, or raises compliance concerns.

2. Scope of Services

BGL Utility Services Ltd provides utility account administration and business support services. Our services include:

  • Utility account management (electricity, gas, water, wastewater, broadband solutions)
  • Supplier coordination and communication
  • Contract arrangement support through approved suppliers or brokers
  • Billing support and monitoring
  • Multi-service administration

We do not provide banking, lending, investment, or money transfer services.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information required for service delivery.
  • Authorize us through a Letter of Authority (LOA) to coordinate with service providers.
  • Notify us promptly of any changes in service requirements or account details.

4. Fees and Payment

Our services are subject to service and administration fees as agreed with each client. Fees will be communicated in advance. We do not charge hidden fees, and no financial intermediary services are provided.

5. Limitations and Liability

  • We act as a service provider and administrator; we are not liable for the performance of third-party suppliers.
  • We are not responsible for any delays, service interruptions, or charges imposed by suppliers.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service period.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

We handle client data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal information will only be used to deliver and manage our services and will not be shared without consent except where required by law.

7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services by providing written notice. Upon termination, all outstanding fees remain payable, and we will ensure a smooth transition of account administration back to the client or relevant suppliers.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
